  2. Oh Yea, there was a saying when I was in the Military “The squeaky wheel gets greased” it can have a few meanings but mostly it means it if you get loud enough someone will pay attention.
I know working at different repair shops that if you get loud enough someone will pay attention.
My Mom RIP, back in the 80’s drove a Chevette she wasn’t impressed with it then😆 but one day she picked me up to go to lunch and I heard the front driver’s side wheel making noise the brake pads were scraping, I offered to fix but the car was under warranty so Mom goes to the Dealership and supposedly they fixed mom looks at it and didn’t see new parts, being married to a Mechanic and having two Sons who are also Mechanics she knew what to look for, My Mom didn’t like being messed with, she told the service writer about it, she got the run around My Mom went straight to the Owner of the Dealership and got loud, very loud, Mom got a loner car and next day had new rotors, pads and calipers.
They sprayed with stop squeak to make it quiet, I heard five mechanics and the Shop Manager were fired.
Fact my Mom never drove another Chevy she wanted Toyotas after that.

  3. True story: both of my recent Subaru Forester XT’s had engine failure relatively early; the ’14 had bad valves and had to have its left cylinder head rebuilt, the ’17 ate 4 sparkplugs. The 2.4 turbo based on the 2.0 is far better.

  4. I had a 2017 2.4, burned oil since day one. After 35k miles I got the engine changed, STILL burned oil afterwards. Sold it a few months later… GARBAGE!

  5. My 2005 Subaru Forester was the biggest piece of junk I ever owned. Piston slap. Burning oil. Engine finally blew up

  6. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. I would like to ask what is wrong with my car that when the ECU was changed the speedometer and tachometer are no functioning anymore. Thank you and God bless you sir.

  7. “Complaining will save you money”
    Wife: i beg to differ.
