  2. You can tell scotty is not feeling 100% but yet he’s still making videos for us, that’s commitment & dedication. Take care of yourself.

  3. Scotty, you have been one of most insightful (and humorous!) professional I’ve ever seen. Right next to my college poultry professor. You make it a pleasure to learn even some of the more complex details about cars.
A fantastic worker, certified Cool Guy 😎, well of knowledge, and dedicated to helping others so they can do more for themselves. That’s some qualities I wish were easier to come by!

  4. The problem is the “cheapy” plastic lights aren’t that cheap when you have to replace them. The old glass halogen bulbs were about 20 to 30 bucks a piece to replace. Most of the modern headlights are 150 bucks a piece and up depending on the car….

  5. I only found you about 6 months ago by accident and I want to tell you how much I enjoy your content. We all wish we had a local neighborhood mechanic with your knowledge and integrity. To find an honest technician in any field today is a major accomplishment. Keep up the good work Scotty.

  6. Have to agree with Scotty on the use of buttons for the interior. At 61 years of age I prefer easier to use buttons than all that electronic crap.
Why can’t a quality manufacturer likeToyota build a simple, large sedan without all the frivolous luxuries, unnecessary electronics and bling.
Guess that’s why we drive older vehicles!

  7. Scotty is the classic … “Back in my day …” grandpa, however, he actually has facts to back it up! HA *Scotty laugh* 😂

  8. I’m glad that my car came with all LED lights. As far as the fogging and fading, I treated the lenses, as long as you do that once a year they will always look like new. Plus my car gets much less UV exposure since it stays in its garage most of the time.
