The redesigned Tucson has taken the compact SUV category by storm from Hyundai. This PHEV is directly up against the Ford Escape PHEV and Toyota RAV4 Prime. On the outside the limited trim gets 19in wheels, LED lighting and special dark chrome grill. On the inside there are two 10.25in screens, leather seating and panoramic sunroof. Under the hood is a 1.6L turbocharged inline-4 combined with an electric motor to produce 261HP & mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. 1. Personally I like the flat black above the wheels – having that on previous vehicles has saved me from dings and dents in parking lots many times.

  2. Another big benefit of having the rear wiper tucked up under the top is it won’t get broken by snow and ice chunks coming off your roof in the winter months – a common thing that happens here in Canada

  3. That Tucson looks amazing it would be nice to have like a soft feel on top of the glove box and definitely the price is not to bad for it very nice and pretty Tucson amazing job joe

  4. I think it would look better if they smoothed out some of the creases on the sides of this. Love the interior !

  5. Like a quarter of these will burn oil before they get 25000 miles. Other than that decent vehicle.

  6. I have the sister version. The 2023 Kia Sportage and I couldn’t be happier with it. Also looks better than everything else in the class in my opinion.

  7. Joe – I don’t know if its true but i’ve read somewhere that Hyundai has some windshields made with some polarization in their windshield glass which if true could explain why they don’t have much glare compared to others. I like this hybrid SUV, it has a huge windshield and I like the infotainment built into the dash like this one, this is a very nice smaller sized SUV and I would take it over others in its class.

  8. 2:58 – A side effect of the curtains’ functionality is that these close to the ground headlamps become dirt even quicker, I suppose.
