  2. I have a 2016 Avalon Hybrid with 176,000 miles. The ONLY issue I’ve ever had with it was a wheel bearing gone bad, which was an easy and relatively cheap fix. It’s never given me any major issues and has always been a reliable car with just basic maintenance. They’re great cars!

  3. The Avalon was always the unsung hero. I know so many people that have Avalon’s between 2002 and 2010 and many of them are well over the 200,000 mile mark, with two of them over the 300,000 mile mark. What a great car. I know it’s basically a hopped up Camry, but Toyota was smart to make the Avalon for customers that didn’t want a Lexus.

  4. Not sure if this is ever given enough props. To the people who take their vehicles to Scotty so he can teach US .. I thank you. I am sure so many more THANK YOU. I was going to see if he wanted to check my truck as 2 mechanics so far are stumped. But he went north 🙁 I would have to wait until Summer for him to come back down.

  5. Love it when Scotty is in a good mood and talking about a car he likes a lot.
He waves his hands more and he bounces .

  6. We have a 2016 Avalon Limited V6 and it’s the best car we’ve ever owned. No problems, very quiet, good power, and decent mileage.

  7. Really gonna miss the Avalon. I’ve seen lots of footage of the new Toyota Crown, and it just doesn’t cut it for me, the Avalon was a classy flagship.

  8. I have a 2022 Lexus ES300h. I just drove to Maryland from Buffalo NY and back and got 44.5 MPG mostly cruising between 70 – 80MPH. In hot weather I’ve gotten 50 MPG. Awesome vehicle – fully loaded – a 6 hour drive doesn’t even fatigue this 70 yr old driver. Plenty of power on the highway to merge into traffic. Handles great, rides great, best stereo available in a car. Worth every penny.

  9. I’m driving a 2016 hybrid Avalon. Love it. Luxurious, very quiet, great ride, decent handling, amazing factory sound system, and respectably fast. I like the look—front grill is modern looking but more understated. It was this or a Camry. Great mileage—tad under 40 mpg. Teslas and these hybrids in sport mode—very fast off the line. Bought used—great way to get into these cars. Highly rated for reliability. I absolutely love this car. Understated elegance

  10. Gotta love toyota hybrids. Friend of mine has a 2012 Prius C (might be a 2011)with 190k, she still daily’s it with no issues. I do have to say it was extremely slow when I drove it lol.
